Everybody play the game... of love

If you want to play games then play me in Words With Friends. Monopoly. Apples to Apples. Clue. Fucking Go Fish. In the words of The Backstreet Boys, “quit playing games with my heart.” Yeah, I said it.

Playing games is a sign of immaturity. And it just shows how little you value your time and mine. Mila Kunis once said in an interview with Cosmo that if you like a guy, you should “speak your mind. If a man gets turned off, he’s the wrong man.” Amen, sister.

Now, we all play - to some extent - but that is the game of life. Not the literal Game of Life- the board game, to all you wise-asses out there. We all keep our options open. And never keeping all of your eggs in one basket is wise. It’s a defense mechanism for your own protection. I guess it’s tricky just going about things the right way.

If you like someone, ask them out. It doesn’t need to be some big formal, fancy date. Just hang out. Grab a burrito. Walk to the beach. Play Scrabble. We live in a society that praises playing hard to get - but what’s romantic about that? Two people in a battle over who can care less? Vom.
