Jeggings in a nutshell

So the newly popular jeggings have recently become an all-but turning point in fashion for women. For anyone who is behind the times, jeggings are a combination of jeans and leggings. Possessing the appearance of denim jeans, but the feel of comfortable leggings, it's a meshing of two worlds. This trend has quickly become accepted as a suitable everyday style, but there are many pros and cons to it...

Pros:

Jeggings are a comfortable alternative to any pair of skinny jeans or yoga pants. Their spandex/lycra composition fits any body shape and the many colors and styles fit any woman's personality. When you feel lazy in the morning and don't feel like spending five minutes jumping around the room, trying to force yourself into a pair of tight jeans, jeggings look like a great option! Jeggings allow you to be able to move around more efficiently, no matter what task you're doing, and for any girl that's put on a pair of skin-tight skinny jeans, it's an understatement to say they're difficult to maneuver in!

The next major pro is price. Keeping up with trends can be tough when you're on a budget, but jeggings often prove to be a cheaper alternative to jeans. However, you may have to consider from where you buy your jeggings. They can range from $15 to maybe $150 if you're going for the designer labels like J Brand and Seven for All Mankind.

Cons:

Jeggings leave little to the imagination. They hug every curve and imperfection of your tushy, which depending on how comfortable you are with your body, could be an issue. Don't be surprised if this bold fashion choice attracts a little more attention than you bargained for...

Another con would be belt-loops! Where are the belt loops!? Depending on where you purchase your pair of Jeggings, some do not have a 'place holder' for your belt. which may be a necessity for the person wearing them.

So, if you prefer 4% Spandex to 100% Cotton and you don't mind the cons, I agree that jeggings are just right for you!
