Who takes shortcuts in life is no one to admire in my opinion. After working so hard for almost everything in my life (considering i’m only 21) you just realize how satisfying it is to earn things, and accomplish things that others get other people to do for them. I’m not perfect or saying I’m god almighty. I’ve got a lot of life to live and a lot of things to learn. I always thought that just being given money or taking the shortcut to get things done would make me so much happier and make life so much easier… and It does; to an extent. However, It doesn’t make me proud and I can honestly say that I’m proud of my work ethic, proud of my body and I hold a lot of pride in the things that I own and enjoy the moments I get to sit back and say, “I earned that”. I work/worked for it all. All I’m saying is its an amazing feeling.
