I Have An App For That

Over the years years our growing dependency on unlimite data plans have exceeded that which experts had anticipated. Given birth to new data plans as well as room for smaller competitors in the cell phone servcie providers feild such as boost mobile and metro pcs. That take advantage of the pay-as-you-go approach to entice users their unlimited plans that require no contract like the other cell phone giants (verizon, at&t, t-mobile, sprint)

Either way their all taking advantage of are obsession. in the early 2000's when cell phones became more practical it was the calling plans that were most important. whch gave birth to the monumental "Free Calling After 9 PM" which in a sense changed the game. cell phone users were encoraged to buy phones because "hey, after 9 PM you can talk on it all you want for free". As the years went on young people like us became cell phone companies main target.Using other mediums that were already popular with us they started basing their phones and plans around them. A few years back it was near impossible to sell a phone to a teen that didnt either have unlimited text or instant messaging capabilities. Thats what made the T-mobile sidekick king amongst the phone of choice for teenagers. They integrated instant messaging services, email, and test messaging with the full qwerty keyboard seamlessly.

Now a days instant messaging isnt the hot medium of communication as it use to be. Now its all about the apps. consumers demand a phone that if nothing else it must have a facebook and Twitter app. And for the business like they demand a quick easy email capable device, that not only lets them manage their email. but also always them to wield multiple accounts. Its the apps pretty much are the gage of how good a phone is, because it is the apps that help us connect with our friends. Its the angry birds that people cant live without, its the blackberry messenger that keeps us connected. That plus the camera and picture messaging expectations. No longer can a phone just be able to call and moderately text. You midst well be caring around a rock with numbers on it We are a generation Thats demands the latest and greatest technology in the palm of our hands and we will except nothing less!
