Pacific Festival 2011
Summer is the season of music festivals, and one of the best around is the Pacific Festival. The Pacific Festival is a premium music and arts festival developed by Steve Aoki and partnering media outlets.
Aoki says, "the idea was to produce an event that connects culture with community; art with music; and entertainment with philanthropy in our backyard of Orange County". This year, the festival will take place at the beautiful Oak Canyon Ranch at Irvine Lake, in Orange County, CA on Saturday, August 13th. Hosted by Snoop Dogg, and sponsored by Red Bull, this is sure to be one of the best music festivals this year. It starts at 10 AM and goes until midnight, so get there early and leave late! However, you must be 18 years or older to attend. Held at a gorgeous outdoor venue with four sound stages and 35+ bands playing non-stop music, you'll have plenty to do to fill up your day. The line-up consists of a great variety of music and well-known artists, such as Afroman and Steve Aoki himself. Plus, there's awesome clothing and souvenir vendors, as well as great food. Brunch, lunch, dinner, desserts, and drinks, even champagne, will be served all day and all night. Expect to see celebrities and do some awesome people-watching. Also, well-known photographer, The Cobra Snake, will be there documenting the whole thing. Tickets start at just $50, so it's an amazing deal. If you're feeling fancy, though, you can opt for the VIP and Hosted Bar option. Also, by buying a ticket, you're supporting the non-profit Surfrider Foundation, which helps protect the California coast-line we all love so much. So, buy your ticket now, make the short drive to Orange County, and don't miss the festival of the summer!
