Fall Fashion Trends 2011

With this fall season having already started, so have the season’s latest trends. If you are looking for new and stylish ways to revamp your wardrobe for this fall season, these are some essentials that you will need to keep up with the most recent fashion trends.

1. COLORED JEANS

When girls want to keep warm and be comfortable during this chilly season, they usually opt for jeans or sweatpants. A way to be trendy while staying comfortable is by wearing colored jeans. This is one of my favorite new trends this season because it is so easy to put together a cute outfit with these jeans. For this fall season, I recommend wearing deep hues such as blues, purples, reds, and shades of green.

J Brand - $176

 Joe's - $78

2. LEATHER
Who said jackets are the only thing that look cute in leather? Be daring this fall season and try a trend you might have never tried before. Try trading in your ordinary pair of jeans for a pair of leather pants or be bold with leather fingerless gloves. If you are going to try this look, make sure you stick to one article of clothing in leather material, you don’t want to leave your house looking like cat woman.
Guess - $108

Free People - $48

3. FUR
Fur is such an essential during the cold seasons because it does an amazing job keeping you warm while looking extremely stylish. Keep in mind that fur DOES NOT need to be expensive to look cute- faux fur is always the way to go if you don’t want to spend a fortune.

Fever - $26

Forever 21 - $50

Fever - $26

4. BORDEUX
Bordeux is a combination between a red and purple tone, which has become very popular this fall. Any article of clothing can look cute in this color from pants to simple tops and dresses.

American Apparel - $38

BCBG - $108

5. HOUNDSTOOTH
Houndstooth is a black and white pattern that has become re-popularized for this fall season. The reason why I like this traditional pattern that has been seen being worn by celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian is because it is fun to experiment with by wearing bright colors with it, such as a bright lip stick or colorful handbag.

Charlotte Russe - $45

Wolford - $55

6. SEQUIN
This is a trend that has been around for a while now and is still in style and hopefully it always will be. Sequin is usually worn to dress up an outfit but can also be worn during the day if used minimally. My advice though, is to only wear sequin when going out somewhere not so casual.

Lupattelli Leggings - $98

Kardashian Lollection - $70
Top Choice Clutch - $20

7. LEOPARD PRINT
If leopard print was a color, it would be my favorite one. This is a trend that I hope never goes out of style and if it does, I will still wear it as if it were the latest trend. Leopard is one of the best prints to accessorize with and even to wear as an article of clothing. In my opinion, anything can be worn in leopard print; pants, shoes, jackets, and dresses are just to name a few. Always make sure that leopard print does not look cheap because it is very easy for it look that way, here are a few examples of ones that don’t.

Michael Kors Scarf - $50

Via Spiga - $98

Vince Camuto - $39
