Kardashians set to release a magazine?

Yesterday morning, The New York Post's Page Six reported: "There's no end to the Kardashian empire's ambition.  Sources say the reality attention-grabbers...now want to lead their own coverage and are close to landing a deal with American Media Inc...to launch a glossy dedicated to the family." American Media Inc. currently owns publications such as Star, The National Enquirer, Shape, and maybe soon, The Kardashian Weekly.  Many speculate that the family's motivation behind this new endeavor is to finally be able to put their own spin on the negative attention that seems to have been surrounding them, especially as of late, since Kim's failed 27-day marriage has caused supposition that Kim was in it just for the publicity and paycheck, and the Kardashians clothing line has been accused of using child labor in production.  The plan seems to be that the magazine would be "all things Kardashian", with Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe helping out in the editorial department and momager Kris Jenner working behind the scenes.  Do you think the world is ready for a Kardashian magazine?  Or will this be the straw that breaks the camel's back and sends the Kardashians down the steep decline that so many reality stars (think Paris Hilton) have fallen before?
