Ron Artest Exit Interview

Click hear to LISTEN to the RON ARTEST interview

Despite Ron’s incomprehensible rambling at times, he made some very good points:

  1. The Lakers were exhausted: 6 players played 82 games.
  2. Agreed with Bynum in stating that the team had lost some of its mental intensity from the previous two seasons.
  3. The Lakers will forever have a target on their back, and teams with nothing to lose will play their absolute best to beat the Champs.
  4. Winning AND losing are both team efforts—no individual member of the team or coaching staff should be blamed.
  5. If there is anything to motivate the Lakers at this point, a second round sweep should do it…

“I’ll be more than happy to go to battle with these guys again”

Until next season, Ron
