On2theNextLA

You specialize in making dope Foxtails and we share the same last name as well? Oh yeah, we must to be cousins. The Ranters on Twitter were right: LA really is small.

On2theNextLA is a new urban street wear company that has heavily support the hip hop dance culture since they came into existence. The company started in January of 2011, and were embraced by the "Jerk" dance culture as well as hip hop culture as a whole. The first item they put out was the Foxtail, and it continues to be their #1 retail item. At the time, Foxtails that other companies were selling were in the $80-$120 range and were in high-demand, but were a bit too expensive for the financially-challenged key market base (ages 13-19). So, On2theNextLA decided to sell them at an affordable price. Now, teenagers looking up to their favorite artists/actors style, can recreate it by wearing foxtails themselves. They also wanted to give their customers a selection, and bring out different styles and colors.

Because of the popularity they experiences, On2theNextLA decided to expand their line to apparel and accessories too. They designed crewnecks, tees, and more that kids can wear. In only six months, they developed a following on Twitter of 1,550+, which is a much faster rate than their competitors, who have been around for a lot longer than On2theNextLA has. On2theNextLA is still a young company, but they are expanding their line to include more apparel in the next few months and their goal is to transform the company from underground to mainstream.

Some of the artists On2theNextLA have sponsored, have been featured on BET and various local tours. On2theNextLA also participates in urban dance conventions, such as the World of Dance, Vlado Footwear's Showdown, and the Black House Party. On2theNextLA is a fast-growing company with tons of promise, so be sure to keep your eye out for them in the future!
