Essentials items to look cute on a rainy day

The rain in LA will probably only last today but driving isn’t the only thing people were worried about! I can bet half of the girls panicked and threw on their favorite sweatshirt. Really though, there is no reason to let the weather “rain on your parade OUTFIT”! Here are some key pieces to keep in your closet when the rainy days approach.

Leather Jacket

Such a staple item because you can dress it up or dress it down. Motorcycle style with jeans is edgy and cute! Or..

opt for something girly like the BB Dakota (shown on left).  Either way, a leather jacket will keep you warm and fashionable. Detachable hoods are great way to make your look versatile while protecting your hair (shown on right).

Despite the funny name, Poncho’s are hot!! Amazing item to throw on and look effortlessly sexy (that’s what we all want, right?) Pair with shorts on a hot day or skin-tight jeggings in the rain, and you’re good to go.

Skinny Jeans

Skinny jeans are essential to any girl’s wardrobe. Fall colors such as burgundy, navy, dark grey and black are must haves. Over the knee, motorcycle, biker, and distressed are just a few styles to choose from. Every girl needs a great pair of boots.  With the amount of times you’ll wear them, investing in a good pair is bright idea. Easy to throw on and escape the puddles! Nothing like “Jeans, cute top and boots” as a go-to outfit.

Rain Boots

For obvious reasons, rain boots are a great addition to your closet. No worries about them getting wet, and they come in cute styles now! Try a classic boot with a fun lining (shown on left) or a classic rain boot that looks like a regular boot!

Leggings/Tights

Leggings are great when you’re not up to squeezing into your skinny jeans. And cute pair of tights can go a long way! Tights are fabulous when you want to wear your favorite skirt, but its too cold outside. Leggings don’t have to be boring!
