The Perfect Summer Treat

It's well into summer, the June gloom will soon be over, and you'll find yourself dying for a delicious, refreshing, sweet, cold treat. Coolhaus to the rescue! Freya Estreller and Natasha Case, two ambitious 20-something year old's started the Coolhaus ice-cream sandwich brand. You've probably already seen them on the streets of LA in their pink and silver postal-jeep-turned-ice-cream-truck. If you haven't yet tried the goodies they offer, it's homemade, all-natural, creamy ice-cream between two home-baked cookies. Their different flavors boast unique names, like the Mintimalism (chocolate cookie and mint chip ice-cream) and Mies Vanilla Rohe (Chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice-cream). Plus, you can mix and match the different cookies and ice-cream flavors to create your own perfect sandwich.

Coolhaus has been such a hit since it first started, that there are now trucks roaming the streets of Austin and New York as well. They're even opening a store front in Culver City! So, sometime soon this summer, you'll know the exact location to go anytime you're craving a signature ice-cream sandwich. Located at 8588 Washington Blvd, it's definitely a convenient location. It'll offer yummy iced coffee, soda floats, and even ice-cream sandwich cakes as well.

Be sure to follow Coolhaus on Twitter (@Coolhaus) and like them on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Coolhaus) to hear more about the store opening and truck locations! They also have a fun Tumblr (http://coolhaus.tumblr.com/).
