Walker Lamond's Rules for My Unborn Son

"504. Don't leave a wedding until you've danced with the bride."

I know we've all rolled our eyes when our fathers have sat us down and tried to give us advice. Most likely, you let whatever he said go in one year and out the other, and bolted away from the table as quickly as possible once he finished. This is what Walter Lamond wants to avoid. He wants to "get some things straight before I get old and uncool".

Lamond lives in Washington, D.C., and is a writer and television producer. His documentaries have appeared on the Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, TruTV, and HBO. He's written for many magazines, and now he's written a book. His first novel, titled "1,001 Rules for My Unborn Son", is all the knowledge he's gathered over the years that he wants his son to know, compiled into a humorous and entertaining read for anyone, not just his son. Ironically, shortly after he finished the book, he and his wife welcomed their first son.

Check out Lamond's Tumblr and Twitter, where he posts some of his rules and photos. It'll give you a good feel for what the book is life. As soon as you realize that this is a book you want to read, you can buy it here.
