MW3: A Blessing for Some, A Disaster for Girlfriends

Girlfriends everywhere will be able to relate to what I'm about to say: November 8th, 2011, the date Call of Duty MW3 (Modern Warfare 3) is set to be released, is a doomsday for relationships. Like all you other girlfriends out there, I've sat by for countless boring hours watching my man play Call of Duty, and the release of MW3 is sure to excite him more than anything has ever excited him before, and I am doomed to deal with his fascination and obsession, and as a result, his disinterest in anything that doesn't involve the glowing screen and multi-colored controller. If your guy is like all the other, he most likely pre-ordered the game over six months ago, to ensure that he will not be the last of his friends to have it. Is it just me, or does the competition and manliness guys associate with having a game first and being the best at it make no sense whatsoever? Great, you're better than all your friends at pushing a button. Sweet.

Day 20 of the NBA lockout couldn't keep back the release of the NBA 2K12 cover. The cover features Magic Johnson, whose legacy is deeply embedded with the Los Angeles Lakers. If this 2K is as good as last year's 2K, which had Michael Jordan on the cover, it will definitely be a must-buy. Showtime!
