Los Angeles is a huge place, a world of its own! We’re known for having some of the most beautiful girls in the world. So we’ve put together a short list of the L.A. girl essentials to help you look good and stay cool through Summer.
1. Bathing suit: Not just any bathing suit! Splurge a little to get one that no one else has. With so many pool parties in L.A. you don’t want to be caught dead in the same bathing suit as another girl, that you both got from Target (yes that’s happened)! It’s probably not a problem if the suit is very basic and in a solid color, but if you want a print or special detail pay a little more so you cut the chances of having a “bitch stole my look” moment. Also, get one that fits. A saggy bottom is not attractive! And PLEASE don’t forget to get a bikini wax! Our favorite place is Queen Bee Waxing Salon & Spa.
2. Shades: We all know people in L.A. love to stare! At times it can be annoying. So to help build a barrier, or to hide your own nosey stares, sunglasses are very important. Of course Ray Bans are a must but we also shop 80s Purple! Your glasses don’t always have to be expensive.
3. Skin: We show a lot of skin in L.A. so it’s important to keep it looking good and to protect it. Everyone uses different products but one of our favorite skin care lines is Dermalogica. With the heat you might not want to pile on the make-up and when you have amazing skin, you don’t have to! Getting burned by the sun is not cute! Try Supergoop
4. Umbrella-ella-ella: The Los Angeles beaches are not stocked with beautiful umbrellas so lets try to make them pretty with these Cocopani australia umbrellas! It’s only $110! I was expecting them to be a bit more pricey, they’re so fab!
