RE-CIVILIZE YOURSELF. A lot of talk has been made over Nivea's new ad. Many people consider it to be racist while others say those people are just racially sensitive. What do you think, is it racist? (comment box)
It was the only ad out of all the ads for this men's line that featured a black man and the suggestion to "civilize" yourself. A lot of people took this as a reference to how slave owners used to say that blacks weren't "civilized enough" to to live and work on their own. Personally, I doubt that was Nivea's intention.
